Professor Charlie Shalom Benrimoj, B. Pharm (Hons), PhD, FFIP
Professor S.I. (Charlie) Benrimoj B. Pharm (Hons), Ph.D. was Head of the Graduate School of Health University of Technology Sydney. He was the Foundation Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Strategic Planning) University of Sydney. He is a visiting professor at the University of Granada. His research interests encompass professional pharmaceutical services from community pharmacy. He has published over 200 papers, 24 major research reports and presented and co-authored 200 conference presentations. He has co-authored a book “Community Pharmacy: Strategic Change Management” (2007). He was awarded the André Bedat 2010 by International Pharmacy Federation (FIP) and was elected a Fellow of three distinguished international and national societies in 2008 - Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, 2008 - Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 2007 - International Pharmacy Federation. |
Charlotte Rossing, MSc, PhD (Pharm), FFIP
Charlotte Rossing graduated from the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1998. In 2003 she received a PhD degree in Social pharmacy with a thesis named: "The Practice of Pharmaceutical care in Denmark - a quantitative approach". Subsequently, Charlotte Rossing joined Pharmakon, where she is the Director of Research and Development. Charlotte Rossing has for the past 12 years worked with the research, development and implementation of Pharmaceutical Care Services in community pharmacies. Developing tools for delivery, implementation and sustainability of services in a practice setting. Charlotte Rossing acts as reviewer in several international journals. She has been active in planning sessions at International Pharmacy Federation (FIP), since 2011 and has been co-chairing Forum for Innovators 2011-14, a programme organised by FIP Community Pharmacy Section. She has been on the Board of PCNE since 2011, acting as Chair from 2014-2015. |
Assistant Professor Arijana Meštrović, PhD, MPharm, FFIP
Arijana has been working as a community pharmacist and she was responsible for education and competency development in the biggest pharmacy chain in Croatia. She is now Assistant Professor and independent consultant in Pharma Expert international agency, providing lectures and workshops in CPD programs for pharmacists all over the world, implementing new services in pharmacy chains, and teaching Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care at universities in Croatia and Cyprus. Arijana serves as member of the International Services Program Advisory Group the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE, USA), She was Co-Chair of the FIP Programme Committee, today she is Vice-President of Academic Pharmacy Section of FIP, Member of Board of Pharmacy Practice at FIP, Lead for Competency Development at WDH in FIP, member of PCNE (Pharmaceutical Care Network of Europe) and international consultant of WHO (World Health Organisation) and Co-Chair of SMART Pharmacist Program. Arijana is dedicated to promote competency-based education in CPD cycle among pharmacy practitioners, so her teaching usually addresses all components of competencies – knowledge, experience and motivation. |
Victoria Garcia Cardenas, PhD, M Pharm, B Pharm
Lecturer in pharmacy at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia). Member of the Pharmaceutical Care Research Group at the University of Granada (Spain). Her teaching and research interests encompass medication adherence, the evaluation and implementation of complex interventions and practice change in community pharmacy. She has published over 20 papers in refereed journals, four major research reports and presented and co-authored 30 conference presentations. Victoria is currently involved in five national and international research projects for the evaluation and implementation of professional services in community pharmacy, and is supervising eleven PhD students. |
